Key Features:

• Westward 2DBT4 sledge hammer with a 10 lb forged steel head
• Hickory wood handle in a natural finish
• Overall length of 36 in
• Striking face diameter of 2-1/2 in
• Plain grip, with no wrap or overmold

Benefits:

• Ten pounds of head weight delivers the driving force needed for ground rods, stakes, wedges and demolition work
• Hickory flexes under impact and soaks up shock better than a rigid handle, which is easier on wrists and elbows
• A 36 in swing length gives two-handed leverage while still fitting in a truck box
• The 2-1/2 in face covers a wide target area, so off-center hits are less likely to glance
• A bare wood handle can be replaced in the shop instead of scrapping the whole hammer when it splinters
