Key Features:

• Slingco TCU09281 CUAL ratchet cutter rated to 1,500 KCMIL copper or aluminum
• 30 in (762 mm) long, 12 lb (5.44 kg)
• Ratchet mechanism that increases cutting force with each open and close of the handles
• Strong blades built to cut hard cables cleanly and smoothly
• Not to be used on energized lines

Benefits:

• 1,500 KCMIL capacity covers large distribution conductor with one tool instead of a saw or a hydraulic head
• The ratchet action lets one worker cut heavy cable by hand, adding force stroke by stroke rather than all at once
• Slingco states the 30 in length keeps ratchet operation smooth even in small spaces, so it works in a vault or a pedestal
• A clean, smooth cut leaves a square cable end ready to terminate instead of a crushed one to trim back
• Ergonomic handles are shaped for a firm grip, which is what keeps a 12 lb cutter controlled overhead
