Key Features:

• Salisbury 2464 pole guard, 12 in. diameter by 4 ft long, for covering wood distribution poles
• Molded from Type I high-impact, cold-weather-grade ABS plastic in orange
• Class 4 rated: 26kV to ground and 44kV phase, limited to brush contact
• Inner surface carries uniquely spaced dimples that minimize contact area between the guard and the pole

Benefits:

• Covers a 4 ft section of pole, giving the crew a defined protected zone where they climb and work
• The Class 4 brush-contact rating matches common distribution voltages up to 26kV to ground
• Cold-weather-grade ABS is chosen to keep taking impact when it is handled in winter
• Dimples hold an air gap against the pole, so moisture condensation under the guard is reduced
• Orange color makes the guarded section obvious to everyone on the job
