Key Features:

• Model 5800-3 heavy duty transformer gin supplied with a ratchet strap
• Working load limit of 2,500 lbs
• Fiberglass mast with high-strength aluminum alloy fittings, plated steel bolts and high-test alloy steel chain
• Center of the clevis sits 11-1/2" out from the face of the pole
• Complete assembly weighs 24 lbs

Benefits:

• A 2,500 lb working load limit covers pole-top transformer and equipment sets without moving up to a truck-mounted boom
• The fiberglass mast keeps the load path off conductive steel where the gin is working near energized hardware
• Standing the clevis 11-1/2" off the pole face gives the load clearance to swing past framing and hardware
• At 24 lbs one lineman can carry the gin to the pole and set it without a second hand
• The ratchet strap lets the gin be tensioned onto poles of varying diameter rather than needing a fixed bracket
