Key Features:

• Post hole digger from the OshKosh 2050 split-handle series, offered here with 8' handles
• Blades made of special alloy steel that close on a circle about 6 inches in diameter
• Welded blade construction with no riveted joints
• Channel-shaped steel fulcrum with no castings in the pivot
• Two bolts per handle so a handle can be replaced instead of the whole tool

Benefits:

• Split handles open wider than solid handles, letting you enlarge a hole with a back-and-forth sliding motion instead of repeated bites
• The 8' handle length lets you keep working from the surface as the hole gets deep
• Welding the blades instead of riveting them removes the joints that normally work loose on a digger
• A steel channel fulcrum puts no castings in the highest-stress part of the tool
• Bolt-on handles turn a broken handle into a quick parts swap on the jobsite
