Key Features:

• OshKosh 1082 plain digging bar, 1 in diameter by 8 ft
• Built from high-carbon steel to resist bending
• Hardness carefully monitored to prevent chipping
• Blade edges and points kept sharp by that same hardness control
• The plain dig bar runs 1 in to 1-1/8 in diameter in 7 ft and 8 ft lengths

Benefits:

• Eight feet of reach lets you work the bottom of a deep pole hole from grade
• The 1 in diameter keeps weight down against the heavier 1-1/8 in bars
• High-carbon steel resists the bending that ends a bar's life on buried rock
• Controlled hardness means the point does not chip on the first stone it finds
• A plain profile keeps the bar simple and light when no tamper head is needed
