Key Features:

• 3/4" hex demo clay spade, catalog number 48-62-3040, with a 3/4" hex shank
• 4-1/2" blade width and 16-3/4" overall length

• Made for digging clay, hard packed gravel and dirt -- not for use in concrete
• Sold as (1) clay spade

Benefits:

• The 4-1/2" blade moves a useful bite of soil per stroke while still fitting a narrow trench
• 16-3/4" overall length keeps the hammer close to the work for control in a trench bottom
• Forged high grade steel stands up to repeated hammer impact in packed gravel
• A 3/4" hex shank drops straight into demo hammers built for that shank -- no adapter
• Knowing it is a soil tool, not a concrete tool, keeps you from ruining the edge on a slab
