Key Features:

• 1-1/8" hex demo clay spade, catalog number 48-62-4030, with a 5-1/2" blade width and 20" overall length
• 1-1/8" collared hex shank with notch
• Forged from high grade steel
• Digs clay, hard packed gravel and dirt -- do not use in concrete
• Sold as (1) clay spade

Benefits:

• The wide 5-1/2" blade shears out large plugs of packed soil, so a trench opens in fewer strokes
• 20" overall length lets you drive the spade from standing height into a trench bottom
• Forged high grade steel survives the hammer loads that bend lighter digging blades
• A 1-1/8" collared hex shank fits standard demolition hammers with no adapter
• Using a soil spade instead of a chisel on hardpan saves the chisel edge for concrete work
