Key Features:

• Klein D228-8-INS 8" insulated high-leverage diagonal cutting pliers, 8.24" (20.9 cm) overall
• 1000-volt rated to IEC 60900:2018 and ASTM F1505-16(2021)
• High-leverage design with the rivet closer to the cutting edge for 36 percent greater cutting power
• Induction hardened steel with induction-hardened cutting knives; 0.781" jaw length
• Two-layer insulated orange handles 4.9" (12.4 cm) long with integral guards; 11.2 oz (318 g), made in USA

Benefits:

• 36 percent more cutting power means fewer hands-on repeats to get through hard-drawn wire and screws
• Integral guards keep your hand from sliding forward onto conductive parts during a hard cut
• The bonded high-dielectric white inner coating shows through when the outer layer is damaged, so a compromised tool is obvious
• Induction-hardened knives hold an edge longer, which keeps cuts clean rather than crushing conductors
• A flame-retardant, impact-resistant outer coating survives being dropped in a panel or onto concrete
