Key Features:

• Hogg & Davis Safety Pole Tongs, Model 30, rated 10,000 lb capacity
• 16 3/4" jaw opening; tong weight 30 lb
• Built from hi-tensile 67,000 psi steel
• Three flame-tempered 1 1/4" teeth on each jaw
• 1" full floating pins with welded heads and machined Nylatron pulleys

Benefits:

• The 16 3/4" opening takes butt diameters the 11 1/2" Model 20 cannot reach, so large transmission poles and heavy timber are in range
• A 10,000 lb rating gives headroom on wet or oversized poles that push a 7,500 lb tong to its limit
• Flame-tempered teeth on both jaws hold the bite instead of skating on bark
• 1" floating pins with welded heads spread the higher load across a bigger pin section
• Nylatron pulleys run without grease, so the tongs keep working when they live outdoors on a pole trailer
