Key Features:

• Catalog No. P10431 double sided universal disconnect hook, listed by Hastings for opening and closing switches
• Universal-fitting hot stick head, cataloged alongside Hastings universal disconnects, tie stick heads and wire tong heads
• Double sided hook profile puts a working face on each side of the head
• Light 0.3 lb head weight
• Same family also offers a fluorescent yellow version (A10400) and an extra long 4.75" version (P10459)

Benefits:

• Lets a lineworker open and close switches from the end of a hot stick instead of reaching in by hand
• The universal fitting drops onto the universal sticks already on the truck, so no dedicated pole is needed
• Two working faces mean you can engage a switch eye from either approach without turning the stick around
• At 0.3 lb the head adds almost nothing to tip weight, so a long extended stick stays easier to aim
• The fluorescent and extra long versions cover low-light work and deeper-set switches without changing tool style
