Key Features:

• Hastings 8106-U fixed length shotgun stick is the 6'6" model with an external operating rod
• Weighs 5.2 lbs
• The -U suffix denotes a universal fitting on the base end
• Stores in the C-8106 case
• Part of a fixed length range running from 3' (8103) to 14'6" (8114), with fluorescent hook and bottom break hook options offered

Benefits:

• A fixed length stick has no telescoping joints to lock, which keeps operation simple in a bucket
• At 6'6" it is the practical length for aerial work where a longer stick would foul the boom
• The external operating rod is accessible for inspection and cleaning rather than sealed inside the shaft
• A universal fitting on the base end lets the stick be extended or take a universal accessory
• At 5.2 lbs it can be held and worked one-handed for the length of a clamp installation
