Key Features:

• Hastings 4186 emergency/universal wire cutter cuts wire up to and including 9/16" O.D.

Benefits:

• A 9/16 inch capacity covers the service and secondary conductors most likely to need cutting in an emergency
• A shear type blade cuts through rather than crushing, which matters when the cut has to happen on the first pull
• The 25 ft rope means the cut is made from a distance, with the operator clear of the conductor
• The extended nose lets the head be placed over a conductor in a congested span or against hardware
• At 4.6 lbs with rope it can live on the truck as a dedicated emergency tool without taking real space
