Key Features:

• Hastings 6790 Load Spotter high voltage ammeter, 0 to 2000 amp range, plus or minus 1% accuracy
• Large digital display with 1" high by 1/2" wide numerals and a lighted background, readable from 30 to 40 feet
• Displays either hold or free run readings, with a low battery indicator
• Snap in and out adapter lets the ammeter be used on conductors up to 2" outside diameter, mounted on a universal hot stick
• Tested to 345 kV; weather resistant aluminum housing; operates from -4 degrees F to 104 degrees F; padded case included; made in USA

Benefits:

• Reads line current from the ground on an energized conductor without an outage
• Numerals sized for 30 to 40 foot viewing mean the groundman reads the meter, not the climber
• Hold mode captures a reading you can record after lowering the stick
• Handling conductors up to 2" OD covers primary distribution and most sub-transmission spans
• The padded case protects the meter between jobs and keeps it ready in the truck
