Key Features:

• Greenlee 706 heavy-duty scissor-style cable cutter with a 31-1/2 in. overall length
• Cuts copper cable from 8 AWG up to 750 kcmil
• Cuts aluminum cable from #8 up to 1000 kcmil
• Cuts communication cable up to 1-1/2 in. (38 mm) diameter
• Strong, lightweight fiberglass handles

Benefits:

• A single cutter spans small conductors through 750 kcmil copper and 1000 kcmil aluminum, covering most feeder work
• 31-1/2 in. handles supply the leverage to shear large conductor without a hydraulic head
• Scissor action shears the cable rather than crushing it, leaving an end that is easier to terminate
• Fiberglass handles keep the weight down for a cutter this size, which matters when cutting overhead or in a trench
• The stated 1-1/2 in. communication cable capacity tells you directly whether it covers your largest bundle
