These epoxy-coated wire shelving posts match with our green wire shelves to give you a strong NSF storage solution in environments where humidity, moisture, and temperature fluctuations are common. Perfect for kitchens and walk-in coolers and freezers.
Cannot be used with Shelving Inc. brand chrome wire shelving parts. May not be compatible with other brands of wire shelving.

- Notched in 1" increments and double notched in 5" increments
- Specialized thread pitch of 12 threads per half-inch, optimized for Shelving Inc. components (see Product Details section below purchasable options for more information)
- Post cap and leveling foot (adds 1" to total height) for stability on uneven surfaces

- Pairs with green wire shelves to create custom solution
72"h posts have a two-piece design and form by twisting the halves together in the middle. Posts cannot be connected to each other to increase height.

This is a standard specification describing the size and spacing of a screw or bolt thread. Here's how it works:
- 1/2" - The nominal (major) diameter of the thread. The outside diameter of the external thread is approximately half an inch.
- 12 - The number of threads per inch (TPI). There are 12 complete threads in one inch of length.
- Pitch (Derived Value) - The distance from one thread crest to the next. For 1/2"-12:
- Pitch = 1 ÷ 12 inch
- Pitch ≈ 0.0833 inches per thread
- Value does not come out evenly because it's defined in inches, but was designed using nonstandard measurement. We are converting it.
- In metric terms, the thread is approximately Ø12.7 × 2.12 mm.
