Key Features:

• Cementex IS38-16 insulated socket, 1/2 in 12-point standard wall on a 3/8 in square drive
• Rated for use up to 1000 VAC / 1500 VDC
• Double-insulated with a two-coat orange over yellow insulation
• Booted design that covers the connection points completely
• Works with Cementex X-Drive ratchets and standard extension bars; made in the USA

Benefits:

• The 1000 V rating lets this socket go on energized work where an uninsulated socket is not allowed
• Two-coat insulation puts a contrasting color under the outer layer, so wear that reaches the inner coat is visible on a pre-use inspection
• A 12-point opening picks up the fastener at twice as many positions as a six-point, which matters when the ratchet swing is short inside a panel
• Booted coverage over the drive connection keeps the insulated system continuous when a ratchet or extension is added
• Standard wall on a 3/8 in drive keeps the tool compact in crowded enclosures rather than forcing a bulkier 1/2 in drive setup
