Key Features:

• Cementex IS38-16L insulated deep wall socket, 1/2" hex, 12-point, 3/8" square drive
• Rated 1,000 VAC / 1,500 VDC for live-part work and factory tested to 10,000 VAC
• Built to the ASTM F1505 and IEC 60900 insulated hand tool standards
• Proprietary coating process keeps the insulation slimmer where the socket meets the nut or bolt
• Made in the U.S.A. with U.S. and globally sourced materials; fits Cementex insulated ratchets, torque wrenches, extension bars, T-handled square drives and breaker bars

Benefits:

• Deep wall body drops over long studs and recessed 1/2" fasteners a standard socket cannot reach
• The socket itself is insulated, so there is no separate blanket or sleeve to fit before you turn a 1,000 V fastener
• ASTM F1505 and IEC 60900 compliance supports your OSHA safety-related work practices, NFPA 70E and CSA Z462 documentation
• A slimmer wall at the contact face lets the socket into tight bolt patterns that crowd out bulkier insulated sockets
• 12-point opening picks up a hex head in twice as many positions as a 6-point, so you seat it faster in cramped gear
