Key Features:

• IEK20 insulated linesman's knife, 9" size, for skinning cable and conductor
• Voltage-rated tool: rated 1,000 VAC and tested to 10,000 VAC
• Cementex double insulated construction, marked with the international 1000V double-triangle symbol
• Complies with IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505 and supports OSHA safety-related work practices, NFPA 70E and CSA Z462 compliance
• Manufactured in the USA with domestic and global materials

Benefits:

• A rated knife means jacket and insulation removal can happen in an energized enclosure without switching to an unrated blade
• The 10,000 VAC proof test behind a 1,000 VAC rating gives documented margin for live work
• ASTM F1505 marking satisfies the insulated-tool requirement auditors check under NFPA 70E and CSA Z462
• A 9" linesman's pattern gives enough blade to skin large conductor jackets in a controlled pass
• Double insulation means the handle stays protective even after the outer layer takes normal jobsite scuffing
