Key Features:

• PD800W cordless phasing and voltage tester, a digital two-probe system covering 120 volts to 800,000 volts
• Takes direct contact readings on distribution voltages and non-contact readings on transmission and substation systems up to 800kV
• FCC licensed wireless link between the reference probe (transmitter) and meter probe (receiver), with an operating range of 100 ft and no interconnecting cable
• Large easy-to-read backlit digital display on the meter probe; both probes are impact and water resistant
• Kit includes a straight probe adapter (8128LPM), a hook probe adapter (8128LHM), an instruction manual and a padded case (PD800B); each probe runs on a standard 9 volt battery

Benefits:

• Eliminating the interconnecting cable removes the biggest snag and entanglement hazard of two-stick phasing
• A 100 ft working separation lets one crew phase across a wide substation bay or between adjacent structures
• One instrument spans distribution through transmission, so a phasing job does not need two separate kits
• The backlit display stays readable at the end of a hot stick in shade, dusk or a vault
• A standard 9 volt cell in each probe means a field battery change needs nothing proprietary
