Key Features:

• Amprobe RS-3 PRO analog clamp meter with AC current ranges of 6 A, 15 A, 40 A, 100 A and 300 A at 50/60 Hz
• AC voltage ranges of 150 V, 300 V and 600 V RMS, plus resistance to 1000 ohms (25 ohms mid-scale) and a continuity check
• Rated CAT IV 600 V
• Jaw accepts conductors up to 1.64" (41 mm) diameter
• Accuracy of +/- 3 % of full scale; supplied with fused test leads, an installed 1.5 V AAA battery and a carrying case

Benefits:

• The CAT IV 600 V rating covers service-entrance and utility-side work, not just branch circuits
• An analog needle shows a fluctuating or pulsing load as movement, which reads more clearly than a jumping digital display
• The 1.64" jaw closes around large service conductors without disconnecting anything
• Five current ranges starting at 6 A resolve small control-circuit loads as well as feeders
• Voltage and current are powered by the circuit under test, so a flat battery still leaves those functions working
