These chrome hanger rails match the width (runs side-to-side) of our wire shelving to reinforce rigidity, allowing larger spacing in between the wire shelves. You can also use this product as a barrier to prevent stored items from falling off or to attach extra accessories such as utility hooks.

Good Cart Accessory

The hanger rails works great on mobile carts to prevent objects from sliding off. I ordered the 30" rails but they were not quite long enough to fit my 30" x 18" cart. I was able to bend the ends of the rails out a little bit and they fit fine.

Hanger Rail

We added this hanger rail at the end of our shelf and then placed hooks on it.  It's perfect for hanging hats, aprons, keys, etc. Our shelves are in the utility room and solved all our storage problems.  We were pleasantly surprised to see how sturdy and attractive our unit was.

Hangar rail for earthquake safety

I've used these systems at work for lab stations and they're brilliant. Wanted to use them at home to build a quick and dirty pantry, but was concerned about earthquake safety. A hangar rail across the front/sides looks like just the ticket to keep jars on the shelf. Woot!
