Instructions Don't Match Product

I received this unit yesterday. First of all, delivery was quick and the shelf unit is good quality.The box shipped with all the needed pieces, except that it contained screws, which only work if you're putting the brackets directly into studs (which is impossible, given the width of the shelf unit). So we ended up having to go to the hardware store to buy toggle bolts, which defeated the purpose of mail order.My main complaint was the lack of instructions. The coat rack shipped with instructions for a shelf unit. It took us a while to figure out how to put it together. The also included the black plastic pieces needed for a shelf unit. So we had pieces left over.The final problem was my error. I ordered a 12" wide shelf because that's what is in my closet. However, for this to work with clothing, you have to place the bar on the outside edge of the shelf. It would have been just as easy to hang the hangers from the outside edge and forget about using the bar.
