This was perfect for what we needed
We purchased this product for a business. We needed a shelf that was not too deep, but would last. We have full size shelving like these, but we needed a small unit for the wall. My only complaint is the caps that go over the openings on the shelf pop out once there is a load on the shelf. It is best to leave them out if there is going to be considerable weight on the shelf.
Nice looking and sturdy shelf, but
I was so glad to find an 8 inch depth shelf unit and purchased this for a new kitchen pantry. I needed the depth to be no more than 9 inches, but when mounted, the shelf extends 12 inches from the wall, which was too much. Plus there is a couple inches gap between the shelf and the wall due to the way the brackets mount to the rod. Not suitable for a pantry. I will keep and use this elsewhere o
