I bought this shelving unit with the intention of using it in a garage to connect heavy duty 18" depth shelving. I currently live in an apartment so the unit is a night stand. I was initially disappointed with the sturdiness of the shelves, (my others are rated at 300 lbs. per shelf.) I have changed my mind. The front of the shelf is 24", the depth, (from the face to the corner,) is 36". Too far t

The shelf is being used in a craft room to neatly store items being used. There is a wire shelving unit on each side of the corner unit which gives it a clean and organized appearance. The shelves can be adjusted to whatever height is needed. We are very happy with this purchase.

We put those seldom used item on the top, store large canners on the bottom, and put our kitchen appliances on the other two shelves in our pantry to keep it organized.
