After looking at kitchen islands and other alternatives for placing my new darkroom enlarger, which is quite hefty, I realized that the solution had literally been in front of my eyes - I have a couple of taller shelving store shelves - a smaller one would be perfect - indeed, it was.

I ordered this item with casters to make an island in my kitchen. I made a beautiful black walnut countertop that sits on the 1/4" of the posts sticking up on the top and overlaps 1/2" on all sides. I can move it around my kitchen depending on what I'm doing. The lower shelves are perfect for pots/pans storage. I love this style of shelving in any size and hope I win the $250 gift certificate!

I just love these shelves. I used mine for my coffee center in my home. I have a tassimo coffee maker and most of my family drink different strenghts. Plenty of room for all coffe flavors and sugar along with cups and mugs. The Best part is they're out of my way when I'm cooking.
